Lutaro Privacy Policy
Lutaro is an app for managing Sony camera Picture Profiles and Creative Looks on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Lutaro collects no data about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no servers of ours. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us or to anyone else.
Data we collect
None. Lutaro has no analytics or tracking of any kind. The app never sends anything to us.
Your profile library
The profiles, tags, and preview images you create stay on your device. If you turn on iCloud, the library can sync through your own iCloud account. Apple handles that data under Apple's privacy policy. We never see it.
Camera connections and credentials
Lutaro talks directly to your camera, over your Wi-Fi network or over a USB cable. A USB connection uses no network at all: the app talks to the camera through the cable and sends nothing anywhere else.
Your camera password is kept in the device Keychain. Connection details, such as the camera's name, stay on your device. The app sends your user name and password to your camera only, never anywhere else.
Local network access
The app asks for local-network permission only to find and connect to your camera on your Wi-Fi network. It does not scan for, connect to, or collect anything about other devices.
Photo library access
If you choose a sample image for a profile, the app reads only the photo you pick. It never browses or uploads your photo library.
Diagnostics
Lutaro can create a diagnostics report to help fix camera connection problems. A report is only made when you ask for one. Network addresses and serial numbers are hidden by default, and nothing leaves your device unless you send it yourself.
Changes
If this policy changes in an important way, we will publish the new version at this address with a new date.
